In 2017, Junaid set up a maths club, which has since gone virtual (www.oxfordmathsclub.com). The premise: to expose children to some of the most beautiful and powerful concepts in mathematics. Over time, we've developed more than 10 mini-courses (each 4-6 sessions long) on topics ranging from Topology and Game Theory to Card Magic and Cryptography. In this session I'll share my straightforward recipe for compiling these courses, and lessons learned so far about how to (and how not to!) engage schoolchildren with deep mathematical experiences.
