Sue Looney

Sue Looney is the founder of Looney Math Consulting, a professional development agency dedicated to empowering educators and inspiring learners to see themselves as capable mathematicians. With over 25 years of experience, she created the Same But Different Math routine, which is freely accessible to educators worldwide. Sue holds a Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Mathematics Education from Boston University and has served as adjunct faculty there. She is also a member of the advisory board for Mathkind Global and a board member for Early Family Math. Sue is the author of several books, including Ying and the Magic Turtle, and enjoys spending time with her family at the beach.
