Maggie Lee McHugh

Maggie Lee McHugh is an award-winning educator, author, and visionary in mathematics education, specializing in Project-Based Learning. Maggie is the author of Bringing Project-Based Learning to Life in Mathematics, K-12, published through Corwin Mathematics (2023). In addition to being a middle school educator and instructor of pre-service mathematics teacher, Maggie has traveled the United States as a facilitator for PBLWorks, helping educators design and implement authentic projects for their students. Maggie earned her PhD from New Mexico State University where she studied Project-Based Social Justice Mathematics.
