Amy Alznauer, winner of the Annie Dillard Award for Creative Nonfiction and The Christopher Award, is the author of The Boy Who Dreamed of Infinity (Candlewick Press, illus. Daniel Miyares) Flying Paintings (Candlewick Press, illus. The Zhou Brothers), and The Strange Birds of Flannery O’Connor: A Life (Enchanted Lion Books, illus. Ping Zhu), which was choses as a New York Times Best Children’s Book of 2020. She also teaches mathematics courses at Northwestern University.
